From darkness to light

The full moon 9/3 will be a supermoon. This gives the moon a greater influence.

The full moon will be in the area of the sky called Purva Phalguni nakshatra.

Purva Phalguni means “red fruit” which symbolizes fertility.

Jupiter will also have a positive influence on this full moon. Which makes this a good time to connect to what inspires us and gives us recovery and hope.

This lunar cycle started with Maha Shivaratri. Actually, the last crest of the moon is always Shivaratri. The difference is that Maha Shivaratri falls just before spring. The time when everything was broken down but nothing has yet been built up, in the ruins of the old. In Vedic astrology, the moon under Shivaratri is said to be the oldest and most tired.

Perhaps one can understand this time as the end of a cycle and the beginning of a new one. Holi is celebrated this time in India as a way to celebrate the return of spring.
